Body Sensing SRT (Stress Release Therapy)

Body Sensing SRT  is a body centred stress release therapy that releases deep chronic tension that occurs during traumatic or stressful events. In this defensive state the body has the innate ability to restore balance through “tremoring” or “shaking”.  Body Sensing STR taps into the body’s natural ability using a series of breathing and movement  exercises to trigger the body’s  shaking/tremoring response to restore balance or homeostasis of the mind and body.  The technique is easy to learn and is immediately effective and empowering regardless of the level of trauma or stress or the need to talk about or remember specific events. It’s a powerful approach to stress management and trauma recovery that leads to a calmer body and mind.
